Moisture Vapor Barrier

For years, hci has manufactured an effective Liquid Moisture Vapor Barrier for the manufactured housing industry. 8230W Moisture Vapor Barrier-White is environmentally friendly, LEEDS compliant, and DILHR approved. The easy application of 8230W at a coverage rate of 4 - 6 wet mils will provide a Perm-Rating of less than 0.8.

55150 Premium Moisture Vapor Barrier has been tested and qualified in accordance to CAN/CGSB 1.501-M89 and also complies with section 9.25.4.2 of the National Building Code of Canada with an average perm rating of .77 - much lower than the requirements of ASTM E96-10 when applied according to recommendations. more information

These moisture vapor barrier liquid alternatives to poly are less labor intensive, and have provided the manufactured housing industry with lower labor costs and accelerated throughput in their manufacturing process.
