Head Gardener

My client, a sustainable energy company located in the Niagara Region, is search for a Head Gardener to oversee their 2+properties. They will be responsible to maintain all crops, orchards, plants, outdoor grounds and trees. They will design produce and renew and preserve all outdoor spaces across multiple sites. Responsibilities include:
-Plan, install and maintain flowers, trees, vineyards, orchards, hops and green spaces
-Plan, install and nurture seasonal plants, trees and flowers to ensure site attractive to visitors
-Design, build, plant and maintain raised veg/flower beds,
-Mow, trim, fertilize green spaces.
-Mulch, weed, edge all gardens,
- Advise management on costs and budgets
-Identify and oversee permanent and temporary staff
-Plan and conduct snow removal strategy
-Plan construction of a hockey rink and livestock barn
Requirements:
-3+ years Related expereince
-Post Secondary diploma in related field
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to lift heavy objects
-Valid license
