This Sales Representative role is an important career position in our company as we grow and expand. We work closely with our clients to identify their needs and to provide the best system based solutions for their problem.

  • University Degree or College Diploma or 3 - 5 years related experience
  • Experience in sales in a landscape/ construction atmosphere an asset
  • Solid ability to work with basic business software (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Google Docs etc.)
  • Landscape design skills (understanding of CAD designs or willingness to learn)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate at all company operational levels
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience in construction/landscape estimating and bidding process
  • Analytical and research skills
  • Prospecting experience
  • Strong command of English required
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter, motivated, resourceful and reliable
  • Ability to multi-task with great attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and problem solving skills
  • Willingness to meet and exceed customer requirements
  • Valid G Drivers license

Duties and responsibilities

  • Liaise with and support architects, designers and construction leads/ clients
  • Conduct telephone, email and in person sales
  • Follow up with leads from a variety of sources
  • Visit commercial and residential sites following safety protocols
  • Prepare and follow up on estimates and quotes
  • Review job costing pre and post sales
  • Follow established workflow and best practices
  • Coordinate with all departmentsMaintain updated customer and service information
  • Oversee all aspects of sold projects from start to finish
  • Assist with sales/marketing promotions as required
  • Manage data base of quotes and compile reports as required
  • Prospecting new channels for RFQs / RFPs
  • Manage and participate in special events such as conference, trade shows, sales presentations
