Landscape Labourer
Job Number: SLC - 013
The General Labourer will assist our crews in all our commercial landscaping activities at one of our locations such as the Lac Leamy Casino or the Rideau Canal. This position is full-time Monday to Friday, with paid overtime after 40 hours. Opportunity to sign a winter contract afterwards!
Daily Tasks
- Planting flowers and weeding flowerbeds;
- Participating in end-of-season clean up;
- Handling landscaping equipment: push mower, hedge trimmer, etc.
Requirements
- Dedicated hard worker;
- Must enjoy working outside;
- Full ability to handle physical demands: walking, sitting, climbing, kneeling, repetitive motion, bending at the knee, bending at the hip, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 27 kg;
- Minimum Secondaire 3 or Grade 9 education;
- Practical understanding of the use of the machinery;
- Ability to understand verbal instructions and act upon them, read label and communicate verbal reports;
- Ability to provide strong customer service.
Please note that we have winter contracts available as well!
