Job Responsibilities: To supervise the tasks and quality of work of a 3-person crew; To assess the work to be done and ensure it meets the requirements and standards of our customers and Tecumseth Landscape Service Ltd.
Work involves: Cutting grass with both riding and push mowers, weeding, soil cultivation, planting bed edging, flower planting, small to medium sized plant pruning, site clean-up (sweeping, debris clearing, etc.), and other miscellaneous maintenance related tasks.
Communicate closely with owners; organize/delegate daily responsibilities/tasks on site; fill out log reports; drive to and from job sites and yard.
Skills: Be able to take instructions and delegate responsibilities; and must be able to drive truck and a 16 ft. trailer; MUST be able to drive a zero-point turn ride-on lawnmower; small engine repair; knowledge of plants/weeds/flowers, good planting practices, and some elements of landscape construction; prepared to do physical work; time management; have good communication skills; have attention to detail; self-motivated with a positive supervisory approach.
Work Experience: 2+ years in a supervisory or semi-supervisory position
Certifications: Clean driver's abstract a must, MUST have a valid "G" Class Driver's License, WHMIS, Fall Protection, must have current First Aid certificate, College diploma an asset, but not necessary depending on experience.
Full Time
Salary: $850.00/week x 2 weeks = $1700.00/bi-weekly salary
