Landscape Sales Consultant
LANDCARE is an established, award winning landscaping company offering permanent, year-round employment in our high-energy, team oriented environment. We’ve been providing commercial and residential design, construction, enhancement, maintenance, and snow removal services to our clients in Toronto for thirty years. LANDCARE is located in south-west Toronto.
Landcare is looking for a sales professional, with a proven track record and deep understanding of the Landscape industry! Previous Landscape business owners are welcome!
The position primarily involves designing, estimating and selling; softscape and hardscape projects to meet or exceed the client’s needs and desires.
- Meet and work with interesting clients, with sufficient disposable income to install your projects
- Have the support of a Design team to convey your ideas
- An in-house professional team to install your ideas
- A work environment that fosters creativity
- Work independently within a team environment, support from a Sales and Construction Manager
- Seasonal work, or year-round with snow plowing and business development
YEAR-ROUND, FULL TIME, PERMANENT, STABILITY, SAFETY, OVERTIME PAY, BONUSES, RAISES, VEHICLES, BENEFITS (Hospital, Drug, Emergency, Travel, Dental, Life, Paramedical: chiro, physio, acupuncture, massage, etc.), TRAINING, SEMINARS, GROWTH, TEAMWORK!
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of sales and estimating experience in the landscaping industry
- Landscape design, estimating and project management experience required
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Excellent plant and horticulture knowledge required
- Excellent landscape construction knowledge required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Excel, Word, and Outlook skills required
- Flexible working hours
- Clean Class G with driver's abstract is required (own vehicle is an asset)
- Landscape diploma or certification is an asset
- Experience with design in CAD and other design tool is an asset
- Knowledge of City of Toronto code and permit requirements an asset
- Snow plowing experience is an asset
Start Date: Immediately or Fall 2020
Rate of Pay: Base Salary + Commission - commensurate with experience *negotiable
