Yard Worx Landscape is looking for general labourers to join our energetic team of young professionals. We perform lawn maintenance and landscaping services in the Waterloo Region area and are looking to expand our team. The position is full time with opportunity for overtime.
Job Overview:
To assist in completing landscaping projects and landscape maintenance
Job Responsibilities:
· To assist in landscape projects/maintenance and complete work
· To ensure equipment is used safely, effectively and properly to ensure unnecessary breakdowns/ injury or damage do not occur
· To show up on time and complete full days as outlined on required hours
· To ensure tools and equipment are put away in designated areas
· To clean, maintain and grease equipment on regular basis
· To keep shop orderly and tools in designated areas
· To show up in uniform
Mandatory Hours to be Available:
Landscape hours: 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Requirements:
· Previous lawn maintenance and landscape experience is an asset
· A strong work ethic
· Attention to detail and organized
· Ability to communicate effectively with other staff/coworkers and clients
· Must be able to use all tools and equipment to perform all tasks associated with landscape maintenance
· Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 to $19.00 /hour
Expected start date: 2020-06-07
