Farm Equipment Operator & Labour (Sod Farm)

Seeking Reliable Full-Time, Farm Equipment Operators and Labour for our 2020 season.
Experienced EQUIPMENT OPERATOR skills?
Are you SAFETY conscious?
Understand the importance of QUALITY Products?
Working from our Moose Creek, ON Production Centres, with the ability to work days and weekends outdoors in the elements, you have an eye for detail while being responsible for the safe operation of mowing and rolling equipment; spraying and fertilizing equipment; and/or land prep equipment. Our season goes from May to October.
Compensation is based on an hourly rate ($17-$30) and on level of experience.
Job Duties
- Operating industrial/farm equipment
- Basic maintenance of equipment (circle checks, blade changing, greasing, belt changing, and cleaning, etc.)
- Ensure safe operation always
- Fill in necessary paperwork for reporting on farm inputs/sightings/results
Requirements
- Farming/Equipment experience
- Mechanically inclined
- Flexible with ability to work autonomously
- Detail oriented
- Communication skills
