Loader Operator
Position Overview: The front-end loader operator will be primarily responsible for safely and efficiently operating equipment to load customer and delivery vehicles. This position will also involve picking orders and general maintenance of the yard.
Typical Duties
* Ensure the yard is safe, clean, organized, and professional conditions exist at all times
*Operate a front-end loader and/or forklift in a safe and efficient manner to receive and load materials
*Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned as scheduled and stored securely
*Complete daily maintenance checks and report any Health and Safety concerns to the supervisor on duty
*Prepare orders for delivery
*Build and nuture client relationships
*Maintain open communication with other team members to accomplish daily and weekly goals
*Complete other assigned task as required
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
* Must enjoy working in a physically demanding and fast paced environment
* Must have good communication and time management skills
* Must be comfortble with repeated heavy lifting - up to 70lbs
* Must have experience operating heavy equipment
* Heavy Operating Equipment License is an asset
* Customer service experience is an asset
