Working Conditions:
Must be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Fast paced environment. Repetitive tasks but will be exposed to various aspects of field and container production.
Physical Requirements:
Physically demanding, walking on uneven surfaces, standing for extended periods of time, bending, crouching, kneeling,, hand-eye coordination
Days/Hours of Work:
8:00am to 5:00pm, 40 to 48 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. Overtime required during seasonal peaks. Occasional additional overtime required.
What Is Required:
Willingness to work outdoors, in various weather conditions
Eager to learn new skills
Team Player and Positive Attitude
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation (rural location)
Secondary School Diploma preferred
Horticulture knowledge or experience an asset, but not required
Safety footwear, Work gloves, Rain Suit, Pruning Shears
