We are a growing design/build landscape construction company, located in Sunderland, Ontario and are looking for motivated individuals who would like to make a career in the landscape industry. Our service area includes all of Toronto and Durham Region. Our teams specialize in Natural stone patios, Laid and Mortared flagstone; Interlock; Foundation planting and mulching; Night Lighting; Irrigation; Ponds and Water features and so much more. Your normal work week would be 50 plus hours during the peak season. Handling basic hand tools will be part of your daily routine (rakes, shovels, pry bars, pick axes, wheel barrows). Experience with Levels, contrete saws, plate compactors and machine operation will be an asset. Being part of our creative team also means enjoying working outside in all kinds of conditions, helping with problem solving and being physically fit, as our machines not always fit where the project is being constructed.
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation to shop (Sunderland) a must
- Physcially fit and capable to handle heavy lifting, dusty conditions, noise
- Able to work in all kinds of weather conditions
- Great communications skills with your team members, supervisor and customers
- Eye for detail and taking pride in everything you do
- Experience in Landscape Construction is an asset but we value a willingness to learn
- Meet daily timelines as outlined by project manager and supervisor
- Seasonal full time (April - December weather depending)
- Compensation will be based on experience
