A person who shares our passion, to lead a team to continue our commitment to constructing outstanding landscapes in the Kingston area.
THE POSITION:
Be responsible to organize and lead a team of 2-3 people in the construction of landscapes of varying size and composition
Read and interpret plans and specification documents.
Carry out required site layout measurements, elevations, slopes etc as required to implement the landscape plan.
Manage material and equipment requirements on a day to day basis and co-ordinate with project supervisor to ensure optimal project flow.
Liase with client to ensure a positive customer experience.
Set and example for all crew members through safe work practices and ensure all team members are utilizing all appropriate safety equipment and following optimal safety procedures.
Communicate and work with other sub trades as required to keep project running smoothly.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
Have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in landscape construction
Be proficient in the operation of skidsteers, excavators and wheel loaders etc.
Posess strong organizational and leadership skills.
Have the ability to problem solve on the fly.
Support our commintment to a safe workplace.
Be an ambassador for the company through excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism.
Share our drive to achieve the highest level of detail and quality possible.
Be willing to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
Have a valid G license with a clean driving record.
