Jameson Pool and Spa is a project design/builder of pools and landscape, completing over 100 new projects each year. We are looking for a Senior Landscape Designer to join our design team. The position is year-round, very interesting and varied in scope. Your job would be to provide designs that work technically with the space and is a visually appealing. The CAD design must also stay on budget for the quote we provided. Having excellent customer service communication for offering ideas, explaining technical requirements with confidence. Job Description & Duties:

• Meet with clients at their home or in our office for initial design consultation
• Preparation of drawings to communicate design concept to clients
• Prepare and submit detailed construction drawings for permit application
• Site visits to log property measurements, elevations, and inventory
• Assist clients with material selection
• Basic administrative work within an office setting
• Carry out project from initial design to final product
• Ordering materials from suppliers
• Ensuring Permits are in place
• Conducting on site inspections with by-law officers
• Measuring and staking pools

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience in residential design and construction
• Ability to read detailed construction and concept drawings
• Knowledge of horticulture
• Experience with design software such as Dynascape and Pool Studio
• Ability to take site measurements and elevations
• Knowledge of the latest materials such as Pavers, Retaining wall systems and natural stone
• Valid Driver licence and own vehicle
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain personal work performance in the face of setbacks
• Ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Effective oral communication skills both with coworkers and customers
