Summary: 

The successful applicant would be responsible for implementing the line out planting, maintenance, including pruning, weed control, and irrigation, and harvest of all nursery products. The applicant would also be involved in the transport and staging of products at the sales yard, and yard maintenance.  This person would report to the Nursery Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in the purchase, installation, and maintenance of field liner stock
• Involved in the set-up, maintenance, and recording/reporting of irrigation systems
• Assist in the development of a production plan
• Involved in the implementation of the production plan
• Manage, and mentor field staff
• Assist in the management in-ground, WB, and hardscape product inventories
• Involved in purchasing and staging of plant material and hardscape products

Requirements

The successful applicant would be required to have:

• Horticultural / Forestry Diploma/degree 
• MS Office Suite (specifically Excel) experience
• Ability to work extended hours including Saturdays when required
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a group atmosphere
• Ability to adapt
• Organized

Recommendations

The successful applicant would be recommended to have:

• Extended horticultural knowledge with 5+ years of field experience
• Basic construction knowledge
• Sales experience
• Smart Vendor POS experience

Compensation

• $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
