Planting Crew Driver

The successful applicant would become part of the tree planting team. This person would be responsible for loading, securing, and transporting product and equipment to the installation site. This person would assist with the installation (both manually and by machine) of materials when required. This person would report to the Planting Manager.  

This person is responsible for: 

• Perform daily inspections of equipment as per MTO regulations
• Assisting in loading of trucks and trailers
• Ensure loads are safe and secure as per MTO regulations
• Operate machinery to load/unload and assist planting crew
• Provide manual labour to assist planting crew when required?
• Report problems and concerns to shop manager

And would be required to have:

• Valid Ontario AZ Drivers’ License with 5+ years driving experience
• Clean driving abstract
• Machine operation experience
• Ability to work extended hours including Saturdays when required
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability and willingness to perform manual labour

Compensation based on experience and skills of the successful applicant
