Job Description:
garden centre retail sales
seasonal part time and full time positions
$14.25-$19/hour
must be able to work flexible hours including days, weekends and holidays
Role:
Completing all steps of retail sale from initiation, to assisting to load customers purchases
plant maintence: watering and weeding
stocking plant material
unloading plant shipments
Qualifications:
strong social skills, must have excellent customer service skills
horticulture/garden centre/landscaping experience and asset
a strong team player, enthusiastic, eager learner, and possessing a strong work ethic
adaptable and able to adjust to a fast paced work environment
possess a passion for plants, gardening and landscaping
organized with appreciation for detail
enjoy the outdoors
self-directed and motivated
Work Environment:
outdoors in all weather
handling materials up to 50 lbs
repetitive tasks: bending, lifting, standing, walking for extended periods of time
