Who are we looking for?

• We need someone who is motivated and had a hard work ethic and attitude towards the completion of a task. Someone who enjoys putting in extra hours to have the fulfillment of completing the job.  Team work is key, together as a team completing a task is number one for efficiency.
• Have a Certificate in Horticulturalist or practical experience in a Landscape Trade
• Have sound knowledge about plants and their culture.
• Display a restful attitude towards clients and co-workers at all times
• We are currently looking to hire for seasonal, part-time & full time staff members to grow with our company
• We service the Etobicoke area for Landscape Maintenance and Construction

Duties may include:

• Weekly Lawn Maintenance & flower bed care to various properties in the Etobicoke area
• Have the physical ability to perform Garden Maintenance i.e. planting, loading/unloading, raking, cultivating, pruning & blowing (we use gas powered tools), digging & edging.
• Operate equipment as assigned by staff and to ensure work is performed efficiently and safely in accordance with Landscape Ontario standards, policies and procedures
• Ensure safe and responsible operation of all vehicles and equipment
• Ensure all tools/equipment are operated competently, safely and maintained in a good operating condition
• Performs other duties assigned

 

Work Conditions:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent stamina is required
• Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise and cold
• Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work
• We start at the shop at 7:30am – this allows ample travel time for those taking TTC
