Landscaping Supervisor

Duties:

• Lead a team of 3-5, supervise and co-ordinate the activities of landscapers for commercial and residential services.
• Plan and estimate the materials and labour requirements for individual contracts.
• Organize the planting and maintenance of trees, gardens, lawns, shrubs and hedges and the construction and installation of fences, patios, walkways and retaining walls.

• Establish schedules based on priorities and work site locations and co-ordinate work units.
• Resolve work related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports to the owner.
• Responsible for supply and materials levels and report to the owner.
• Train new landscapers in job duties and company policies and monitor their performances.
• Report daily progress of site activities to the owner.
• Create a good work environment with positive work ethic.
• Create tool management system and maintain the log book to keep track of tools.

 

Requirement:

• High School Diploma.
• 6-12 months of experience as a Landscape Supervisor.
• 1 year of work experience in the Landscaping industry handling soft and hard landscaping services.
• Valid Driver’s Licence preferred.

 

$31 per hour, 30-40 hours per week

Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay

Permanent, full-time, non-seasonal
