Blue Sky Property Services is now accepting applications for the following positions:

• Maintenance Crew Foreperson

Pay rate will be based on experience.

The Foreperson will be responsible to ensure all personnel are organized and moving in the mornings with all equipment loading and route designations. He/She will also run a maintenance crew for daily operations of property maintenance. The candidate will also assist the Owner with day to day operations including equipment maintenance, some landscape construction, etc. The Owner is looking for a solid "Go-To" person to grow with the business and progress accordingly. A certificate/degree in a Horticulture program will be considered an asset however is not required. Potential to participate in the apprenticeship program if desired. Great progressive atmosphere to work in. We are looking for the only the best people to join our team.

You will be required to:

• Have experience supervising a crew/multiple crews for the maintenance division
• Must be able to perform physical duties over the length of the shift
• Have knowledge of turf, plant material and garden maintenance
• Have experience with mowing, trimming, weeding, cultivation, and edging of garden areas
• Have knowledge and experience with proper pruning practices
• Have experience with ZT Mowers, gas trimmers, blowers, gas power cultivators and hedge trimmers
• Must be able to operate pickup truck and trailer combinations
• Work outdoors during a variety of weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 20kg repeatedly during your shift
• Must be available Monday - Friday day time hours, and some Saturdays as required
• Have transportation to our office at 2459 Industrial St, Burlington
• Provide a valid class "G" driver's licence and current driver's abstract at the time of interview
• Snow operations experience is a valuable asset
• Horticulture certification/diploma will be considered a valuable asset also

Pay rate is projected at $22 - $24/hr
