Forest Ridge Landscaping is a family owned and operated landscape design, installation, and maintenance company with over 25 years experience. We work on a variety of contracts throughout the GTA and surrounding areas with commercial and residentail landscaping projects including hard scaping, soft scaping, grading, retaining walls, planding, sodding.
We are actively seeking a Human Resource Associate/Recruiter to join our team. This position will have high focus and exposure to all areas of our operations, and will include all aspects of the Human Resources function including COR Certification.
Responsibilities:
Full cycle recruitment
Creating and implementing recruitment strategies that best fit our organization
Prepare documentation, performs activities related to onboarding, counselling, and termination
Advise employer and employees on interpretation of human resources policies, compensation, benefit programs
Mediate labour disputes on behalf of employers or employees, advise on employee relations
Coordinate employee performance appraisal programs
Conduct H&S inspections and coordinate JHSC meetings
Support COR certification processes and documentation
Follow and maintain WSIB documentation
Other HR related duties as assigned
Requirements
Post Secondary diploma in HR, Business Administration or other similar diploma
3+ years Human Resources experience
Working experience in landscape construction
Working experience with IHSA COR Certification process, or similiar H&S Program
Experience with HRIS/ATS system
