OGS Landscape is a family owned and operated, award winning landscape design and build company serving the GTA East area since 1953. We provide our clients with a turnkey backyard design package. At OGS Landscape we help our clients achieve their dream outdoor spaces by designing and building any of the following features: custom in-ground vinyl or fiberglass pools, natural stone or precast concrete patios, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, structures/woodwork, sport courts, driveways, lighting, planting, and irrigation. We also have a full grounds maintenance department servicing all our residential customers.

OGS Landscape is looking for an ambitious, hard-working, and creative individual who is currently doing landscape design and is looking for a new opportunity. The qualified candidate must be able to work independently and within a team atmosphere in order to meet client and company objectives. The qualified candidate should also be a highly motivated person who is constantly striving to learn and better themselves and the company.

One of the main responsibilities of the qualified candidate will be to proficiently use Uvision or Dynascape rendering software to model landscape designs for use in client meetings or proposals and for the construction team. The qualified candidate will also be responsible for assisting our landscape design team with the following:

• Preparing drawings indicating all property features as required and preparing concept plans for the sales team for client review
• Understanding municipal guidelines/by-laws and preparing site plans for permit submission
• Modeling projects with rendering software for the sales team
• Preparing final construction drawings and details for use by our construction team
• Other related design tasks as required

The qualified candidate should possess the following:

• Competent knowledge and experience in Uvision or Dynascape

• Competent knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets

• Working knowledge of residential style planting and design
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of municipal regulations and by-laws
• Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Current & valid G Driver’s License
