If so, you may be the talented and adaptable landscaping manager we seek to take over operation of a mobile landscaping team with one foreman and 4-6 labourers. The right person in this role will have a wonderful job with unique challenges and possibility for great accomplishment and an extended career on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
This position requires a proactive and adaptable manager who:
A reasonable level of landscaping design skill is vital. You need not be a landscape architect but must be interested in and have some success in the design of landscapes to meet client requirements under tight deadlines.
Academically you must have a minimum of a 2-year diploma in horticulture or related field, and preference will be given to applicants with a relevant degree.
Minimum experience sought - 2 years of landscaping management with a proven track record of managing a small team efficiently. A reference from a former supervisor attesting to this experience is required along with an academic reference.
Salary USD50,000 plus commissions. Negotiable upward for candidates with additional experience and proven design talent.
The position would be based on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands. It is a semi-arid climate, with 25 inches of rainfall per year, and most days being full-sun.
