Carpenter Assistant

If you answered yes, we are currently looking for a Carpenter Assistant.

 

Please note this is a Union position – Liuna 183.

 

Responsibilities:

• Organized and the ability to take direction
• Experience working in both Indoor and outdoor work environments
• Able to follow directions from the Foreman
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to work around noisy and dusty environments sometimes
• Able to work in the GTA

 

Requirements :

• 1 to 3 years carpentry experience
• Proven experience in carpentry (decks, framing, cabinetry, pergolas etc)
• Previous experience working with custom projects, measuring, cutting, using a tape measure and power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be reliable, committed and dedicated to completing quality jobs
• Must pass criminal background check
• Team-player attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid G Licence a plus

 

Experienced carpenter $23.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience
