Irrigation Technician Assistant

Part-time leading to full-time | Waterdown, Ontario    | Start Date - April 8, 2019

Raincentre Irrigation Contractors Limited: is a Waterdown based irrigation company specializing in the servicing and installation of irrigation systems.  Our extensive high profile clientele includes residential, commercial and municipal sites.

General Description of Responsibilities

The position offers a healthy outdoor, hands-on work environment at a variety of sites.

Assist the Irrigation Technician/Foreman in the servicing of existing clients as well as installation at new sites.  Maintain tools and inventory of work vehicle to facilitate efficient work day.

This position offers approximately 40 hours per week with weekends off.

Remuneration is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, dependent upon qualifications.

Required Skills/Experience

• Willingness to develop and learn new skills
• Training provided
• Physically fit with previous outdoor work experience an asset
• Able to work in a fast paced environment, with attention to detail
• Some experience with varied construction and hand tools
• Own transportation  to get to and from Waterdown Monday to Friday
