Under the general supervision of the Manager, Design and within established policies, procedures and guidelines to assist the Supervisor, Production in planning, maintaining and providing team leadership for all production crops, interior display, equipment/machinery and greenhouse facilities.
Qualifications:
Education: Completion of a recognized diploma in Horticulture or equivalent knowledge and experience. Must possess valid Landscape Exterminator Pesticide License (Class 6). Experience and knowledge of propagation techniques and greenhouse methods and procedures.
Experience: A minimum of three years of practical experience plus one on the job. Experience creating and following propagation schedules and maintaining excellent records. Ability to plan and assign tasks, as well as lead a group or team. Must be proficient with computer software (Microsoft Office Suite). Must have previous experience operating Greenhouse Environmental Control systems.
