Paramount Landscaping is a growing company that is looking for experienced individuals to join our team.

We are looking for an someone with the skills and motivation to succeed and be promoted. Paramount is growing every year and with growth new positions begin to exist. The Landscape Maintenance Foreman would be a position with lots of challenges and excitement. You will be working between the Maintenance Manager and the Crew Supervisors directly. The candidate must be capable of filling any maintenance position and work along side the Maintenance Manager with his daily tasks in order to eventually fill in for the manager in his/her absences. The goal of this position would be to develop into becoming the second Landscape maintenance manager.

Required experience:

• Must have 3 years experience supervising a landscape maintenance crew
• Must have a valid "G" license
• Experience driving and backing up trucks with large trailers
• Experience using a variety of lawn care equipment I.E.
  • walk behinds
  • zero turns
  • string trimmer
  • backpack leaf blower
• Full understanding of the expectations of a lawn maintenance crew
• Basic plant/weed identification
• The ability to run a crew of up to 4 employees
• Experience pruning shrubs and bushes
• Experience aerating and fertilizing
• Experience with winter snow removal (preferred not required)
• Must have or be willing to obtain a DZ licence

Job Responsibilities:

• Fill in for any absent maintenance staff
• Assist in the training of new staff
• Complete scheduled maintenance extras such as
  • aerating
  • fertilizing
  • Pruning
• Assist in the maintenance of the equipment
• Assist the manager with his tasks

 Compensation 

$22.00 - 28.00 Hr based on experience and qualifications
