Azilda Greenhouses is located in beautiful northern Ontario, under 10 kilometers from the city of Greater Sudbury.  The garden centre has an excellent reputation for quality and service as a retail garden centre,  and for residential landscape installation.

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and organized  individual with the skills to complete excellent designs for residential home owners and to manage the installation of the designs.

 

Expected  Duties:

 

• Meet with clients at the garden centre or at the homeowners property
• Communicate services offered, determine approximate client budget, prepare contracts
• Complete assessment of client preferences, property specifics
• Prepare Landscape design – sketch /computerized design, plant listing , hard good suggestions, care and maintenance suggestions
• Present, review and finalize design and budget
• Complete payment paperwork for the Design Service
• Prepare Installation estimates
• Manage and Coordinate all the Landscape Job needs including scheduling, Ontario One calls, equipment needs, supply orders, plant material orders, labour needs, crew activities and all other details
• Perform Physical Labour on Landscape jobs, working with and instructing the crew
• Maintain Complete Files detailing Client Information and interactions and transactions
• Assist in Sales and Production at the Garden Centre when not occupied with Design Services or Installations

Qualifications

 

• Completion of Landscape Design Courses
• 1-2 years Design experience
• 1-2 years Landscape Installation experience
• Competent in producing both Hand Drawn and Computer Designs
• In-depth knowledge of plants and horticultural practices
• Excellent Customer Service Skills and Organizational Skills
• Physically Fit
• References Required along with a Portfolio of Projects
• Valid Driving Licence
• Bondable
