Landscape Technician/ Installer

 

Jameson Pool and Spa is a fast-paced work environment that requires skilled people on our team.

We are looking for a Landscape Technician/Installer to provide excellent customer service for our constantly growing business. We offer competitive hourly rates between $25 to $30 (based on experience) and greater work week hours and benefit. Fully equipped with quality trucks and equipment in mint condition.

Job Details                                                                                                         

  • Assist Foreman with all aspects of landscape projects
  • Lay and cut Interlocking pavers
  • Assist in the Building of retaining walls, steps, etc.
  • Assist in pouring concrete
  • Planting and sodding
  • Installation of flagstone and natural stone walls

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Landscape construction
  • Good work ethic and must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to follow instruction and carry out task efficiently
  • Must have drivers’ licence and vehicle to get to shop everyday
  • Must be able to work 50-60hr week
  • Machine operating experience an asset (Bobcat, Mini excavator, etc.)

Pay will be based on experience. $25-$30hr

Work Conditions:

  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent stamina is required
  • Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
  • Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
  • Flexible working hours including some weekend work
