The Production Arborist is responsible for carrying out duties assigned by the Lead Climbing Arborist / Crew Leader or designated supervisor in a safe and efficient manner. 

Responsibilities of the Production Arborist:

• Preparing the necessary equipment for the work day
• Ensuring work is conducted safely

• Pruning and removing small and medium sized trees
• Proficient in rigging techniques

Qualifications

• Completion of an Arboriculture diploma program and/or equivalent field experience
  • ISA Certification or MTCU Qualification an asset
• G driver’s license with a clean abstract an asset (DZ license an asset)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in arboriculture
• Tree and shrub identification

 

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Driven and self-directed when completing tasks
