Sipkens Nurseries is hiring Retail Greenhouse Associates for Spring 2020!

With an anticipated February/March start date, we are looking for team members who:

-have a balance of customer service and plant care experience

-are eager to learn

-assist customers throughout their entire experience with a sunny disposition

-work with a sense of urgency, always seeking to improve greenhouse cleanliness, visuals, and plant health

-coordinate and execute daily tasks effectively and efficiently

-help with events/workshops as needed

-maintain a clean and orderly working environment

Job Type: Full-time seasonal (3-8 months); with career opportunities and excellent benefits available

As a retail garden centre we require availability of weekends and some holidays during the busy seasons.

Working Conditions: The majority of work will be in the store and retail greenhouse which can become a very warm and humid environment. You must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and be capable of bending/standing for extended periods of time as well as working in varied weather conditions.
