Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Formal training an asset but not required.

Experience: Experience an asset but not required, Farm equipment experience an asset but not required

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods of time, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Weight handling: up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Work Location Information: Rural area

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Personal Suitability: Team player

Specific Skills:

• Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides,
• Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants,
• Pot and re-pot plants,
• Apply fertilizers,
• Report signs of insect or disease damage,
• Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs,
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
