Position: Landscape Lead Hand

Starting Compensation: $18.50-$22.50/HR

Premier Landscaping is located in Surrey, BC, but services properties all over the Fraser Valley. We are a growing community of landscape maintenance professionals that is founded on great service. As Landscape Lead Hand, you would be leading and working with one of the best crews in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist managing work procedures and schedules for two to four people.
• Providing training, mentoring and leadership to the landscape trainees, under the Supervisor.
• Providing great customer service to our clients and finding ways to improve our service.
• Occasionally driving and caring for a truck and trailer and learning the procedures necessary.
• Assist in teaching and advancing in techniques of mowing, trimming, pruning, bed/plant care and clean up.
• Where possible, managing minor repairs to equipment and tools.
• Promote Premier Landscaping’s core values and importance of great customer service

Qualifications:

• One to three years' experience in full-season landscape maintenance at medium to large sized properties.
• Experience fixing/repairing power equipment
• Class 5 BC Driver’s License - not mandatory but preferred
• Level 1 First Aid – not mandatory but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Honest, trustworthy and positive attitude
• Able to withstand various working weather conditions
• Able for physical, manual work
