About the Opportunity

Turf Care Products, located in Newmarket, ON is currently looking for an enthusiastic individual with a great attitude to join our Landscape and Irrigation counter sales team. We are currently looking for a full-time Lighting & Irrigation Store Manager to start as soon as possible. This position requires priority in creating a positive customer service experience. If you are an excellent problem solver, motivated self-starter with the ability to lead a team within a warehouse environment than this may be the opportunity for you.

 

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise store personnel
• Providing excellent customer service to customers over the phone and at the counter
• Irrigation and Landscape product sales
• Opening and closing the store
• Assist with Inventory Counts
• Provide accurate reporting of store financials

Skills:

• Excellent organization skills with a high attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and supervise a team
• Self-starter
• Effective interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
• Known for working well in fast paced environment
• Easily adaptable to changing priorities

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the landscape lighting, irrigation or golf irrigation industry
• Committed to personal growth and development and ongoing learning
• Experience with point of sale systems; as well as opening and closing procedures
• Inventory Management
• Post second education considered an asset
• Working with a main frame system; including word, excel and Outlook
