Location: based in Calgary, work in various locations in Alberta (except for the Ft. McMurray area), travel expenses paid by employer

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Languages: No basic english required
Work setting: Construction company, landscaping contractor
Area of specialization: Landscape construction
Type of Landscaping Experience: Residential projects, commercial / industrial construction, institutional construction, park and recreation sites, public gardens
Construction Skills: rock gardens, decks, fieldstone paths, stone garden walls, fences, ornamental ponds, fountains and waterfalls, interlocking brick, irrigation systems, retaining walls
Own tools / equipment: steel toed safety boots, hard hat, safety vest
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: attention to detail, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, manual dexterity, ability to distinguish colours, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Site Environment: outdoors, various locations
Essential Skills: working with others, decision making, critical thinking, significant use of memory, continous learning
Landscape Skills: Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios and other landscape structures
Other: salary is based on experience. Courses in landscaping and experience as a landscaping labourer are assets. Financial assistance for relocation is available.
