Pearle Hospitality is looking for a hard-working and knowledgeable horticulturalist and/or landscape designer to work at our multiple venues which are all set in naturally beautiful surroundings. We have restaurant and event facilities as well as an organic farm and residential properties all which require the creative touch and expertise of a candidate familiar with plant species and care.
Responsibilities:
Perform Landscaping and Horticultural activities including, but not limited to, the following:
Accurately maintain records and receipts
Ensure all tools are properly handled, stored, and maintained
Handle relationships with clients in a cordial and professional manner
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A graduate or current student of a Horticulture, Landscaping or Botany program or equivalent work experience ( 5years +)
- Experience as part of a landscaping crew
- Knowledge of plant species and gardening techniques is essential
- A valid Ontario driver's license is preferred
- Good communication skills a definite asset
- Must be able to work well independently and within a team environment
- A love of the outdoors and for plant life an asset
