Stonelife Landscaping is a full-service design and installation landscaping company, providing high quality landscaping services to both Residential and Commercial clients

We are currently seeking a Junior Estimator to join our growing organization located in Concord, Ontario.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and analyze drawings, documents or conduct sites visits
• Complete quantity take-offs using onscreen take-off program (from blueprints or site visits)
• Prepare job pricing sheets and obtain pricing from suppliers
• Prepare quote form for submittal based on pricing sheet
• Review prepared pricing sheet and quote with Senior Estimator or Director for finalization
• Occasional site visits may be required
• Follow-up with clients after quote submittals
• Attend Client meetings when necessary
• Additional tasks as required

 

Qualifications/Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Technician or a combination of education and industry experience is considered an asset
• Must be organized, self-motivated and be able to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Must be able to read and interpret Blue Prints and CAD drawings
• Experience using on-screen take-off programs, (i.e. PlanSwift) or possess a strong desire to learn
• Strong PC skills in MS Office
• Experience using Google SketchUp, DynaSCAPE and AutoCAD are considered an asset
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong time management skills
• Strong mathematical skills are an asset
