Hours: 40 hours in Winter, 50 hours in Summer

Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (High) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
Ability to Supervise: 5 – 10 people
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed Safety Boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, ability to distinguish between colours, large workload, attention to detail
Work Location Information: Various locations in Edmonton and area, AB
Work Site Environment: Outdoors
Personal Suitability: Team player
Additional Skills: Train other workers, Supervise other workers
Area of Specialization: Lawn care, Tree service, Grounds maintenance, Landscape construction, Nursery or greenhouse
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Sod cutter, Chain saw, Small engine equipment, Tractor mower
Specific Skills: Plan and direct grounds maintenance, Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work, Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers, Establish work schedules and procedures, Resolve work related problems.
Additional Information: some experience with tree planting/maintenance, horticulture knowledge an asset, may perform say duties as workers supervised, Outdoor work through Winter months.
