Grounds Maintenance / Hort Technician

Specifics
* Full time seasonal position, with the opportunity of year- round employment.
* Season begins March 26th – December 2018.
* Compensation is commensurate upon experience.
* Optional benefit package

Responsibilities
* Passion and pride in your work

• Work with a great team to maintain and enhance gardens in the Toronto core
• Weeding, edging, lawn & hedge trimming, selective pruning
• Detail oriented
• Be flexible and innovative in a dynamic environmet
• Enjoy working outdoors 
• Physically fit and capable of performing rigorous tasks in 'Allweather conditions'
• Be proactive and work with management and clients to improve gardens
  * Ensure safe working environment for self, crew and surroundings
  * Assess, identify and provide solutions regarding landscape deficiencies
  * Operate company vehicles, equipment and hand tools
  * Organization and time management is crucial for your success in this position
  * Strive to improve efficiencies, be innovative

Qualifications
* Training/experience/education in Horticulture
* Valid 'G' driver's licence
