Maple Leaf Nurseries is located in the Niagara Region and has been in operation for over 50 years. We are a wholesale nursery growing field and container material for the Independent Garden Centre market as well as the high end landscape trade. Our container division grows a complete line of nursery as well as perennial products.
We are looking for a Production Assistant who will be responsible to work directly with our Container Production manager, in all aspects of production related to perennials, shrubs, evergreens and trees.
The right person will:
* Be a self-motivated team worker who will lead by example.
* Have a minimum 2 year degree in Horticulture / Ag Science or the equivalent work experience.
* Have the ability to communicate with all levels of the company.
Spanish language skills are desired but not required.
