Since you have already worked in landscaping and gone to school to learn more about the green industry, you know how to do all of the rudimentary tasks of landscaping, property maintenance and planting. You can be relied upon to follow direction and reiterate tasks to crew members while completing jobs according to our company’s best practices and standards, often under tight timelines.
You are confident in your ability to identify annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs, and can safely use all of the tools and equipment of the trade. Variety is the spice of life and you like the idea that you won’t be doing the same tasks day in and day out.
Ideally you are trained in First Aid, aren’t afraid of blackflies and understand that during the height of our season, you will be relied upon to work long hours and even some shifts at our garden centres on weekends.
A clean driver’s abstract is essential, and you know how to safely drive a truck and trailer. Equipment and safety certifications are highly regarded and will be recognized in your compensation package.
